Reading the Newspaper Has Never Been Easier
With the New York Times Search (NYTS) page, you can quickly search through the New York Times database using minimal bandwidth. You can search for articles dated from September 18, 1851 all the way to today, allowing you to perform some quick research on an historical event or keep up with current events. When available, each search result will give you the title, author, date, lead paragraph, image, and link to the full article.

Easily Navigate Your List of Results
A search will return you a list of results displaying the headline for each one. Simply click on the headline and a small snippet of the article will be displayed. Click on the link to see the full article or close the snippet and continue your search.
Your results will be displayed in groups of 10. You can page through the results using the buttons at the bottom of the list. Enjoying quickly scanning through your results without having to trudge through the NYT website.
